I have eaten here a couple of times here in a group of 8 and enjoyed it on both occasions. Staff were friendly and accommodating, service prompt and the food was excellent with a good selection of dishes with different offerings to other Indian restaurants. It's not a big restaurant so would suggest booking. Recommended.

Great freshly made hot food and decent coffee. Well priced and freindly staff. Can get a bit full at lunchtimes but tables outside also.

Delicious food, good house red and great service. All you could wish for from a long established curry house. Try it - you'll like it. I've enjoyed taking several friends there and they've all said it's the best Indian food they've had.

Lovely pint of Marsden's Pedigree plus a great cheap meal. New setting, enthusiastic staff. Recommended. Great selection too.
Staff really friendly and helpful. Sunday roast was a good sized portion unlike most places these days. Looking forward to going back and trying the food off the main menu.

It wasn't nearly as bad as has been previously, service was really good and didn't take long for it to be ready (I'd walked in for a takeaway). Would eat from here again- although not any of the chicken, both dishes we had were a bit greasy..

without doubt best Chinese around we only ever tried different establishments when they were closed for the holiday and non came close to as good as Shangrila... fab friendly family and their chicken balls are the best!

My husband and I love this restaurant. We eat here often. The food is always delicious and well cooked. The staff are friendly. The restaurant is tastefully decorated in a modern Thai style. I am vegan and have no problems finding things on the menu. Most dishes have a tofu option. They even offered to make me an egg free Pad Thai. Make sure to book ahead at the weekends, as they are always busy.

An authentic corner of Italy in Chesham. The place offers a nice selection of wonderful tasting Italia food... Handmade pizza, pasta, bruschetta and many side dishes at an honest price. Luigi is a friendly and available host that care about the need of all its customers.

Quaint little place in its own little niche. I think they have done really well making it comfortable and welcoming. The colours and decor, along with the homely feel make for the beginnings of a lovely evening. The food is also pretty good, even given that it feels like going round your mates house and getting fed. I went with a large group and they catered very well. When there's entertainment in one room, you can see it from the other room via camera and mounted TV screen - nice touch. Only dropped a star because it's hard to park nearby, and could have a wider menu. That said, they'd be hard pressed to manage with a broad range I think.

Lovely rural location backing onto fields and the bar staff are friendly too. A bonus for the Berkhamsted area, is that the prices are not ruinous, either. A much underrated pub.

Used it as a base for a lovely 6 mile walk recommended by the Chiltern Society. Much needed pint(s) on our return plus good food (burger and chicken Caesar - both done well. Would try some of the interesting looking veggie options). Very friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely go again - not necessarily with the walk! Thank you
Great place for food or just a drink. A very warm welcome awaits as you step through the door. Mind your head if you're tall. Excellent menu and drink selection. Always a popular place all year round. Brilliant garden area that's both child and dog friendly. Very popular pit stop for dog walkers and those out for a wander. The small but cozy snug by the fireplace is very warming on a winters night.

Traditional free house with fresh Anglo-Franco pub food. The young wait staff were eager and nice and the owner was an absolute hoot. The food was mostly good and hearty but with the vegetarian dish leaving a bit to be desired. The lamb burger was a bit dense, the chips were fantastic! Enjoyable experience but not sure I would go out of my way to go again. Reasonable prices and good ambience for a local chesham pub. Dogs welcome and good selection of drinks. Friendly locals.
'Manifique!' The Sunday roast dinner that we were treated to made the countryside walk even more worthwhile,a lovely pub to be in while we waited for the rain and snow to pass. Compliments to the chef and bar staff!
