This is a comfortable, clean, private "home from home"! Perfect hosts, deliciously healthy breakfasts in a wonderful relaxing setting. It felt more like we were staying in a hotel! Also conveniently located for access to both highway and trains. Loved our stay!

We've stayed several times at the Lodge. Always very comfortable, clean and warm. Great to have convenient breakfast in the room with fresh produce. Diana is always very welcoming and attentive. Tom

I This said I was told by a hotelier that the way to get cheap rooms is to ring up the week before and ask for the weekend rate. Lovely pint of Marsden's Pedigree plus a great cheap meal. New setting, enthusiastic staff. Recommended. Great selection too.

Staff really friendly and helpful. Sunday roast was a good sized portion unlike most places these days. Looking forward to going back and trying the food off the main menu.
